About
I got into marketing sideways, and it turned out to be the advantage.
I have an engineering degree. I do not use it directly, but it shaped how I approach a funnel: as a system with measurable inputs and a failure point you can find if you are willing to look. Most marketing problems I have been handed were diagnosed wrong before I arrived. The ads were blamed when the handoff was broken. The copy was rewritten when the page was not being reached.
Three things sit under everything I do. Storytelling, networking, and solving the actual problem. That combination is how I ended up running outbound despite having no appetite for cold calls. If you talk to enough of the right people and publish what you learn, you do not need to interrupt strangers.
I work best with emerging and growing companies that need someone analytical and execution driven, and who will say plainly what is not working. If there is a CMO, I execute everything and make the strategy real. If there is not, I build the foundation and help hire the senior person when the revenue justifies it.
I am aiming for a mid to long term commitment, not a quick engagement. Marketing infrastructure takes time to compound and I would rather be measured on the twelfth month than the first.
What I will not do: run a channel I cannot measure, defend a tool that is not earning its cost, or report a number I would not defend in a board meeting.

Open to the right mandate.
If you are hiring someone to own marketing rather than assist it, the fastest way to judge me is the work.
